SEPA issue flood alert for Helensburgh
A flood alert has been issued for Helensburgh.
SEPA announced this warning on Wednesday, January 25:
Due to a combination of high tides and strong winds there is a risk of flooding from waves and spray to low lying areas on the Firth of Clyde on Wednesday afternoon.
The greatest risk is around the time of high tide, which is at 2 pm.
Areas particularly at risk are low lying areas in and around Helensburgh.
Remain vigilant and remember it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
