Row over scrapped Helensburgh ferry
A massive dispute has erupted over the scrapping of Helensburgh's only ferry service.
The plug was pulled on the service - which has run between Helensburgh and Gourock for more than 30 years – because of a sink in demand.
Local MSP Jackie Baillie has condemned the decision by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) for leaving Helensburgh without a ferry service for the first time since the Victorian era.
